This week we are celebrating National Nurses Week!
National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6, also known as National Nurses Day, through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. You can visit www.nursingworld.org for more about the nursing world-
This holiday was Proclaimed by Richard Nixon (the 37th President of the United States) in 1974 as a period for Americans to recognize nurses' service and contributions-
Do you have a nurse in your family? Not to many people in my family took the medical field route but I do have two twin cousins that are both nurses! A big thank you goes out to everyone in the nursing field!
See our page on International Nurses Day!
