Are you looking for ways to use up some of those flavorful chives in the garden?
Well friends I have a simply easy way to do it. Now keep this in the back of your mind.... remember that chive and cream cheese dip that you always find at parties? You know the one... the thick cracker dipping one. Yessss the one made with cream cheese, a little garlic, a little parsley, lots of chives, lots of pepper and a splash of lemon juice.
When it comes to the party spread you mix everything all together but when it's on toast you just toast your favorite bread slices, then spread on cream cheese, then simply sprinkle the rest on top. The chives, the onion, the parsley and the seasoning. Sprinkle sprinkle~ Your open face sandwich is ready. It's fast and it taste so good. It tastes like you're at a party! Ha!
P.S. Did you see my last post? It had a few words about chives too. It was about egg salad pasta. Or did I name that post "Noodles egg salad with fresh chives" lol
