September 20, 2006

Hello Everyone, Don't you guys just love the coolness in the air? The days are still hot here in Florida but the nights are starting to turn cool. I really like that. Stephen and I are due for a vacation so we are taking the last week of this month off. That 's next week!!! yippppp-eeeee! Stephen gets the whole week off but I only get a long weekend so we can't actually go anywhere and relax really. We are going to go to Alabama to visit my family for a couple of day's. We are looking forward to getting away for a while and being able to take a few deep breaths. So having said that.... you wont see an update in my blog at all for next week. Making Money with the Internet The paid-to-surf Industry is at a all time low right now in my opinion. I haven't been paid by anyone at all lately and most I have joined have went belly up or either I didn't like how they changed their new polices so I've decided to lay low. My referrals have dropped down to an all time low as well. This let's me know that others are holding off on joining programs just like I am it seems. I haven't latched on a new sign up in over 2 weeks now and that is reallllyyyy bad. Also.... I'm not getting the click throughs into my site that I'm rotating like I once was. It seems like the whole aspect of the whole thing has slowed down for me right now and does not seem profitable at all. I can't seem to get my surfing finished at surf-down-under because this site called "agel" keeps taking over. I keep logging back into the site and starting the surf bar over again and in 3 or 4 rotations... that dang site takes over again. I'm tried of trying to surf it so I give up. *I'm reading a lot of stuff about all the changes with the Network sites. I just don't know myself. *You know solidtrustgroup.com has gone private now. The free members have until Sept. 30th to put some money into the program. With the new rules....you will only have to surf one day out of the month. They will let everyone know what day that will be but it looks like it will probably be the same day each month. *15hitsdaily is doing a lot of changing right now as well. When you upgrade with them you will begin to see their Corp. name which is "Tri-Star Media Group." They have also started a promotion called "15 weeks of Christmas." They are giving away gifts to random deposits in your VM. They also have launched their oun private forum that can be found at http://www.successtalkonline.com. I haven't heard any updates with my account at alientrust at all. I don't think they have started paying out after the closing. All these updates and more are found on our Surfing News & Updates page While reading my favorite websites..... I saw that Fred with EbusinessOnline is thinking of selling his website. I kinda hate to hear that because I like his personality and I really like to read his site and listen to his ipod each week. I joined SolidTrusts Paid-to-click but not much activity there yet. My A-Store with Amazon.com is doing good. I'm selling a book or two here and there. My clicks from google has went up for this month. I should be getting a check from them in the next few days. I have to say that Clickthru.com continues to be the best place for me to rotate my links right now as far as advertising goes. It's free and after all these years it continues to work well for me. Catsville All of the 7 cat's are doing great. Since we live in Fort Walton... we are always having military plains flying over because of the base that's next door. Well.... those sonic booms are hell! The cat's were all outside a few minutes ago and one of those sonic booms hit and scared the crap out of all the cat's. They were knocking each other down just trying to get inside the house. They are all hiding in boxes in the garage now and this is what they do each and every day when the sound hits. It's so loud that it even shakes my glasses in the kitchen cabinets. Our Website I have added a few new recipes to the website this month. I've also updated a few of the Halloween pages as well. I still have a long way to go in the Halloween section but I'm getting there. I've had an enormous amount of banner links that have changed so I've been typing like crazy trying to get them back active again. I do a lot of linking through Commission Junction and those links change all the time. My top pages that I'm getting the most clicks on is the Pirate Section. This is unusual but it must be because of the latest craze with the Pirate Movie with actor Johnnie D. "pirate of the Caribbean." All these clicks are coming from the search engines and I've noticed that many other websites have linked to my pirate food section as well. Well that's it for today everyone. Yall have a wonderful week and don't forget that we go on vacation next week so you wont see an update from me. Take Care all and Happy Surfing! Pam

September 14, 2006

Good Morning to you all, I'm sitting here listening to the coffee pot grunt and groan while it makes my coffee. Stephen is still in the bed fast asleep after working a double last night. Soon his alarm clock will go off and he will have to head back to work again. Me..... well I have the day off today and I plan on working on my website for most of the day. When the clothes in the dryer get finished drying.... I will take some time to iron up our work clothes. Sounds so exciting doesn't it. hahaha! The most exciting part of it all is the coffee part. Dadndaves.net / paid-to-surf It looks like David put out a long letter on his website. Here's what it said. Hi everybody, An update on the state of dadndaves. Many people are accusing me of neglecting dadndaves, and concentrating on 12by12daily, at the expense of dadndaves. Yes, guilty as charged. It seems that despite my attempts to give you the real picture over a period of many months, many people have not bothered to read, or do not understand the situation with dadndaves. I have already documented the reasons for the demise of dadndaves, but I will give you a brief rundown again. (You can still read the previous updates by clicking on the link on your members page) By now everybody has heard of the problems associated with Stormpay in the early part of this year. Apart from the actual loss of money in my Stormpay account, I lost all my investments in other autosurf programs which were affected, and either stopped paying or disappeared altogether. At that time I had about half a million dollars invested in various programs, which was bringing in (before February) around $8-900,000 per month. So, as you can see, not only did I lose the half million dollars I had invested, but I also lost a substantial monthly income which was used primarily for payouts at dadndaves. About a month later Paypal decided they no longer wanted to do business with me. This was despite a previously flawless payment record, and verbal assurances from Paypal that this would not happen. Despite these setbacks I continued to make payouts throughout February, March, and into April, and also paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in refunds, even shifting substantial sums of money from my bank account which I had been keeping in reserve. Eventually the reserve dried up. I then asked for your support, and I must say the response was great, many people offered to compound for a couple of months instead of requesting cashouts until I could get my cashflow running again, but what I really needed was a show of confidence and a substantial increase in the number of upgrades. Unfortunately this never came, so here I am with no money, substantial debts, and no way of paying. I had a number of options open to me. First option, close the site and disappear like so many others had before me. Not a good option. Second Option, close the site and offer refunds, pay a few refunds, and then disappear, like so many others had done. Once again, not a good option. Third option, Reset everybodys account to zero, and hope that you would continue to support me, as a couple of other sites had done. Once again, not a good option. The fourth and only option was to find a way of raising the money to pay my members and close the site down honourably. This is the option that I chose. On July 12th I opened 12by12daily.net, for the sole purpose of generating the funds required to pay out dadndaves members. Obviously with a site like that it is imperative that it runs properly and members at that site are paid first, or it would also fall over. I can tell you that 12by12daily members are being paid every day, being paid on time, and a lot of members are making a lot of money there. It has been a phenomenal success, and if you haven't joined yet, come on over. Could be a good way to revitalise your cashflow while waiting for your dadndaves cashout. Remember if you join under my link, all referral commissions I earn are going to payout dadndaves members. http://12by12daily.net/?ref=2 Only after operating 12by12daily for one month, and seeing that it was going to be as successful as I had hoped, did I make the announcement that dadndaves would close down. Since the opening, we have paid out around $700,000 to dadndaves members, and there is every indication that I will be able to honour my commitment to pay everybody what they are owed. Bear with me, this will take time, but over the period of the next year, before September 4th 2007, all members will be paid all their earnings. Bear in mind also, that if not for the success of 12by12daily, nobody at dadndaves would have been paid during this time. So, what is the situation now? Payouts are continuing every day. We are no longer giving priority to high flyers, but are paying everybody as we can. For a while I was paying those who emailed me, to get them off my back, but that is not fair on the members who suffer in silence. It is also no longer practical, as there are just too many emails about this subject to even read. If you email me, and ask "When am I going to be paid?" I cannot answer that. I do not know the answer myself. I have reverted to paying in order of receipt of the cashout request. Many of you who have been paid lately, or who are asking about payouts from August should be aware that there are still some members who have not been paid for May, so that is where I am paying from now. When I get to your account, you will be paid for everything you are owed up to the day I pay you. Please, no more emails about this. Everybody will be paid, in time. In a few days time I will be turning off the cahout button. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, when i get to your account you will be paid for everything you are owed up until the day I pay you so there is no need for further cashout requests. I will leave it on for a few days so that those members who do not have a pending cashout request can make one. Thank you for listening David As you can see, it looks like the payout are about 3 or 4 months behind. I highlighted it in red. I sure liked Dadndaves and we were always paid until lately. I hope people support his 12x12 so more funds can go toward what he owes his dadndave members. He has been a trusted admin over this year from my end.

September 13, 2006

Hello Hello Hello! Gosh I cannot believe how fast this month is flying by. September is well on it's way..... school is back in session and from reading all my favorite blogs this week it's obvious that all the sports are back as well. The TV is full of football and blogs are full of sports scores. Moms and Dads have send the kids back to school again and everyone is starting to get use to a new daily routine. Catsville IttieBittie the house cat somehow found his way out of the house and in the yard today. The little curious rascal got scared and nearly tore the window down trying to get back in the house. The poor little fellow was scared to death. He must of ran out the door when I went to take the trash out and I didn't see him. He's a sneaky little thing that's for sure. Paid-to-surf Guys this market right now is so flippy. This here today and gone tomorrow crap is driving me nuts and I'm getting so tired of it. I would really like for this industry to design a real long lasting business that we all can benefit from, that would actually function as a real business would function and not get ripped by hackers. I just don't want to have to worry about site's steeling our money all the time. Dreammmmm on right. Well.... I'm getting ate up by all the sharks in these surfing games and I'm finding that it's to much of a gamble at this time for me to spend any more than a few bucks in any of them. No more big ad buys for me until the Industry changes for the better. Yep call me scared of the water if you want. I'm swimming to shore and going to sit in the sand and watch the waves for a while myself. I sure hated to see reindeersurf.com close. I really liked this site and enjoyed surfing it. Let's see now.... they said temporarily closed didn't they... LOL. The last surf I joined was tf-surf.com. I still like the low % site solidtrustgroup.com. I'm still surfing 15hitsdaily.com. I don't know about goldndaily right now. I'm still surfing dadndaves.net but I'm still waiting waiting.... waiting to be paid. I'm still surfing surf-down-under. Gosh that site has been going for over a year now. Our Website Gone-ta-pott.com The newsletter is up and ready to read. My new associate store with amazon.com is doing fantastic! I titled it "Make Money with the Internet" and I've started putting this in my advertising rotations now. The Internet is just crawling with people wanting to know HOW to make money with the Internet and these books that are available are great for beginners and packed full of fantastic subject matters on how to make money with the Internet. I'm hoping this will give me some extra Christmas money since I don't seem to be making the money with paid-to-surf programs right now. winkkkkk~ I had to find another angle in here somewhere ya know. Make Money with the Internet. I really have to get myself busy on my Halloween pages. I'm falling behind on updating it for this year and I have to really get my butt in gear if I'm going to have it all ready by October 1st. It is unreal how many hits I get on those pages compared to all my other pages in my website. I really love Halloween and I look forward to it each and every year. I love it as much as Christmas! It's so much fun to work on this section of my website and the research for it is even better. I just have to find the time to get all my work done. I've updated the September Calendar page. Did you guys know that it's National Biscuit Month and National Honey Month? Well it is! Go to our page and read all the Holidays for September. There's a "Date Nut Recipe" on the page as well if your interested. I put it there in honor of Date Nut Day that was on September 8th. On the Homefront Stephen is working his butt off. He works so many hours a week and they could care less how tired he is. Unappreciatedddd for sure! I bet many of you know that feeling don't you? This damn world of retail that he's in is the pits. In this day and age everyone has to work their fingers to the bone just to make ends meet don't they? I only wish life didn't have to be that way but we were not born with silver spoons in our mouths so we work. It's getting the retail holiday season which is no holiday for those people who work retail. It's a holiday nightmare instead. Dealing with pissed off customers who fight for merchandise is terrible and not something that my hubby is looking forward to. Ya know.... it kinda spoils all the holiday spirit for him since he dreads it when the different holidays come around. My work has slowed down for now. Work is revamping the new winter schedule for the employees so I guess I will find out what the verdict of that will be come this Friday. I hope I get a great one. There's a chill starting to move in the air and I need to drag out the boxes of winter clothes. That's all for today, Take Care- Pam

September 6, 2006

Hello to everyone! It's been a good week this week and I have to say that I took the time to catch up on much needed housework. Yesterday I spent most all day washing clothes, ironing, cooking, mopping, sweeping, washing windows and scrubbing the toilets. Hubby cut the grass and then we went to Sam's to buy up some bulk items. Then we took off to the mall to check out the toaster ovens that were on sale at Sears. Our toaster over burnt itself out so we bought ourselves a new one. After all that was over we were starving. We ate at the "Olive Garden" and had a wonderful pasta dish with a nice blush wine to go with it. The hot bread sticks were yummie for sure!! We were so stuffed. And yes oh yes I scooped the cat poop yesterday as well. hahaha! Today I weeded the flower bed, took out the trash, balanced the check book, mailed the bills, shopped for the groceries and Cooked lunch for hubby. Now I'm tired so I'm settling myself in to some quiet time as I write this update. I think we all work harder on our off days than we do when we have to go to work don't we. It's starting to get dark outside and I think I'm going to put on a hot pot of coffee and enjoy something hot and sweet. Some caffeine will help me to stay awake so I can wait up on Stephen to come home from working late tonight. Surfing/Marketing/Making money with the Internet Things are really slow from my end when it come to auto-surfing or manual surfing for advertising. Dadndaves.net has not paid me yet. I sure don't feel good about this. And I tell you..... it has been nothing but pure heck to try and get the surfing done the last 3 weeks. My gosh I have spent all day long some days just trying to get the surf bar to surf. To many people surfing????? hummmm- I don't know about that but I do know that it has been annoying as heck to say the least. One good thing is that Dave always credits you. I don't know what good the credits are if you don't get paid for it though. Ya know...... I really think as far as just getting traffic to my website I still really love Clickthru.com the best. I have used clickthru for yearsssss and I get more traffic from this site than any other traffic exchange that I've ever used. I really have to be honest here...... doing the surfing for advertising and manual surfing has never really brought me much traffic to my website like I would like it to. I think most people just do the surfing for the money and since firefox is the perfect browser to use for surfing (because you can open a lot of auto-surfing sites at one time)..... it you actually want to advertise your site.... your almost wasting your time because you site is not going to be seen very much. Hey I love firefox so don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that if your real goal is to get clicks on your website.... it's best you use the manual surfing programs or the top traffic exchanges like clickthru and use the auto-surfing sites for putting a few pennies in your pocket. "Follow companies that are progressing with the goal of improving upon the product......Advertising." I sure like this sentence! The last time I blogged I put this sentence up and titled it "Favorite Sentence of the week." Did you guys recognize what blog it was taken from? Well it came from the blog at commandsurf- titled "Accept new changes for the Industry." Written on 9/2/06. I thought this was an interesting write up. Catsville I have 2 cats that are clept- toe-manics! Ohhhh yes I sure do. Its getting to where I either have to put these cat's in a room all to themselves or come back home and find they have taken the portable phone off of its receiver and I can't find it. My fear is that they are going to call Hong Kong or somewhere with it while they are dragging it around the house. I've started just unplugging it the last couple of days. I need to make a decision on how I'm going to fix this problem. Give the kitties a phone of their own maybe? hahahaha. One of my favorite jokes Lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address:

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My loving wife

Subject: I've arrived Date: April 6, 2006

I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then. Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.

P.S. sure is freaking hot down here!!!!!

That's all for now-See Ya- and take Care. Pam~

September 3, 2006

Hello Everyone! It's so good to be able to hop online and type you guys a few lines. I've been so busy lately and I know that I am behind on getting my newsletter set. We have a wonderful Holiday tomorrow! Wooo weeeee! Well that woo wee goes out to those people who actually have the day off. I have to go into work at 7:00 in the morning but at least I get off work before dark so I can still fire up the grill. Hummmm I wonder what shift the hubby is on tomorrow. I might not be firing up the grill afterall. Snakes and more snakes Hey Israel.... so how's commandcorps.com It's amazingggg how many snakes are in Florida! So it's possible its a "racer" ya think. I was talking with a few locals and they said the same thing. They also said it may be a black runner as well. It sounds to me like these 2 snake names may be the same kind of snake but I don't have a clue. I did find out some interesting facts about a black runner though. If you run toward them, they will run. But--- if you run from them.... They will CHASE you!! Wow!! They say that's why it was named a "runner." I knew black runners were in Alabama but I didn't know they were in Florida. Like you said.... There not supposed to be social. I do have an update to the snake looking in the glass sliding door. When I was outside yesterday, hoeing around the edges of the cement patio..... I moved a big potted plant over to the side. To my surprise I found a big deep hole in the ground at the back of it. I think I found where this big boy is living and it's just a few feet from the glass sliding door. That explains why he keeps looking inside now. Amazon Associate Store Well well well..... I thought I was the only person who had an Amazon.com -- Amazon Store and to my surprise..... So does Surfboard at SurfAdsInc. Heyyyyyy how come yours looks different then mine Surfboard. hummmmmmm - I don't have the search box and category list on mine. Mine starts with the Listmania. I must of missed that set up step when I did it. The subject I picked for my store was "Making Money with the Internet." I'm going to put the links on my Marketing pages of my website and on all the auto-surfing info pages as well. I've already set the link up on the surfing News & Updates page. This is a awesome Store Front guys that Amazon has come up with for all it's Affiliate members who want one. I think it's greattttt myself. It's something new that there doing and it's in the testing faze but so far it's working great for me. Favorite Sentence of the week Ok let's have some fun. For all you Auto-Surfers, Manual Surfers and Ad Advertisers. Your going to be the one's who understand this sentance. This is no dought my favorite sentence of the week. ""Follow companies that are progressing with the goal of improving upon the product.......Advertising."" So do any of you recognize this sentence? Where did you read it at? I will give you one clue.....It's from a blog. Well I will let you ponder over this one and I will tell you the answer tomorrow. What's for supper? Today I made a really good beef roast with carrots and potatoes and shared it with my work friends. I cooked it in a crock pot so it could slow cook for about 6 hours. I had a dynamite gravy for it and tonight me and the hubby will have just enough left over to make us each a plate. I'm going to make a few biscuits to go along with it so I can sop up that yummie gravy. Bye bye Internet friends, Have a wonderful Labor Day tomorrow! Pam
