Oh my gosh get a look at that cheesecake! My mouth is watering right now. Today (July 30) is National Cheesecake Day and this is one dessert that I just don't get to eat enough of. I think I favor Boston style cheesecakes a bit more that New York style cheesecakes. Don't get me wrong I could devour both of them giggle~ but it seems the New York style is heavier and I tend to like fluffy- It feels like you can eat more if it's fluffy. Hummm I don't think that's a good thing is it :(
For the life of me I couldn't find any resources to who created this holiday at all. I found plenty of blogs that write about cheesecake day but no real trail to it's origination at all. Maybe someone could tell us.
Happy Cheesecake Day ya'll- I'm on my way to the kitchen to make the easy cheaters recipe of cream cheese and lemon juice. You know the no-bake one- in a ready made graham cracker crust. What can I say-

Oh heyyy Louise! I love foodie blogs and I visit your blog too! Don't you just love to read all about the food and recipes that everyone has! I'm with you when it comes to cheesecake- I would be really happy if I had the option to eat cheesecake anytime I wanted-
I sure do love visiting, reading and dreaming about all the amazing food bloggers share. If my memory serves me correctly, you had a website by the same name years ago. Still do I think. I've been there often. I'm adding your blog to my blog list in the Kettledrum. I'm going to be doing a redesign in the next couple of weeks.
Can't wait to see what's in the pot for August!!!
I love every type of cheesecake, but my absolute favorite is turtle cheesecake. I was wondering if you had any good recipes for that. Thanks!!
