August 29, 2006

Hello ! My work week is over from the day job at the Resort and now I'm starting my Internet work. I had a really good week this week. The boss man and his wife went to Colorado for vacation and it was actually a relaxed week for all the employees. The scare of the hurricane sent many of our guests packing for home. The hurricane has turned now and headed in the other direction so it looks like there will be no problem for us this time. When ever we have bad weather it makes it impossible to do my work online. You see we have satellite and it alwaysssss goes down. Since storms are brewing because of the hurricane I'm expecting to have a problem getting all my work on my website published as it should be. That's why I'm typing as fast as I can this morning while the weather is ok. Blog Watch ( see our surfing blog directory ) Like I've said before, one of my favorite things to do is read blogs. I really look forward to my day off so I can fire up the computer.... and start reading blogs as I sip on my morning coffee. Some people reach for that morning news paper but I reach for my blog list. This morning I started reading and found that 8 out of 12 blogs that I read this morning talked about a site called GoldnDaily.com. It looks like many people are joining up with this site to try and make a bit of money that is actually placed in your e-gold account daily. Yep that's exactly what I said. You don't see this very often but this site pays out 12% daily for 12 days and actually has an automated payout. We checked out the site and this is what we found out. When you surf and complete your surfing, your earnings are sent to your e-gold account immediately. The payout is there instantly. We think if you check this site out, you need to think of it as a money game and consider it HIGH RISK. Be Careful! Follow that famous saying "Don't put in more than you can afford to loose." Also something else for you to know is..... if you intend to invest at this site make sure you read all the information. You have to manually adjust your "payout information" in order to get paid daily. If you don't, you are set on the compounding option. Auto-Surfing / Manual Surfing There's a lot of talk about one called Reindeersurf as well. I looked at this one and I have to say I reallyyyyy love the theme of the site. "Christmas!" --- You know.... if your into surfing for advertising, it can get really boring looking at the same ole basic sites. I really like to see a site that has a theme to it so it makes it more exciting to be a member of the program. Yeah yeah I know.... some of you are about to say that you could give a hoot about what the site looks like as long as it puts money in your pocket because your in it for the surfing income only. There's going to be that other group of people reading this that's going to say..... "Hey I want the site' to look really professional and leave out this fun and game stuff..... I want the site to look really good because I'm working toward referrals and the better the site looks, the more referrals I get." Well.... both statements are something to think about and this is what makes each of our experiences with making money with the Internet so different. Personally I like to be Entertained by the advertising/surfing sites a bit myself. I like to see a well laid out site and I like it even better when it has a theme to it that has monthly promotions that tie into the theme as well. I like to see that someone has put some thought into the program. I guess that put's me in a third category doesn't it. hahahaha! Either way guys...... it doesn't matter if your surfing for advertising, surfing for money, surfing for referrals or surfing for entertainment. You have to admit that being versatile is what the Internet is all about and we will choose the programs that best fit what each of us like to see. We all know there is no shortage to the long list of programs that we have to choose from. Each person will have different experience with each program as well. This is why blogging is so important to everyone. This is the best way there is to read about different experiences and get the full low down on programs. So guys.... help support your favorite blogs and be kind. Give them a link from your site. On the Home Front I don't know what it is about these damn snakes in the yard. They are building a new housing development about a 1/2 mile down the road and I guess they are running the snakes out of this forest area. We killed a watermockasin (I cant spell it) a few weeks ago in the yard and I really hated to do it but we couldn't take the chance of getting bit. This bad boy was 3 inches thick in the middle and was about 3 1/2 foot long. But I have something else to tell you. My whole life I've never experienced what I'm about to tell you. We have a black snake that is about 3 foot long that keeps coming up to the glass sliding door .... raising his head about 6 inches off the ground and looking inside the glass door. I suspect he is looking at the cat's that we have inside but I don't really have a clue. It's actually startling to be getting food on the table and see the snake just looking in. If you walk over to one side of the room.... his head will turn and watch where you walk. I don't like it one bit!!! You can walk up to the door and he doesn't move. Keep in mind that he's on the outside and I'm on the inside. If you open the door and go outside he runs off really fast. (thank goodness!) I was told that black snakes were not poisonous but I don't know. He is black with a tan belie. We live in Florida so if anyone know about snakes and could explain the character of this one looking inside the glass doors please feel free to type a few lines and let me know. I don't want to wake up one morning and find he has found a way inside the house. Cause.... it damn sure seems like he wants ta come inside and live with us. Bye for now Ok that's all for blogging today. I have to get busy on my website Gone-ta-pott.com. You guys enjoy your day and I'll talk with you again tomorrow. Pam

August 24, 2006

Happy Birthday! I would like to send out a Happy Birthday wish to my husband Stephen who is 43 today. He is at work right now but when he gets home I will have his favorite birthday cake baked and ready. He loves Chocolate and he loves coconut so I've combined the 2 and made a "Chocolate Walnut Coconut Cake". Yummieeeee! Put a big glass of milk with it, or maybe a big cup of hot coffee..... and just sink into sweetness. LOL! Auto-Surfing Well.... another week has passed that I didn't get any payout from Dadndaves for last months request. 30 more days have passed by and I have requested my second payout. Both are pending. I've made a decision where I'm not going to buy anymore advertising units anywhere until somebody somewhere pays me some money to work with. Looks like I'm dead in the water right now and I just don't feel comfortable putting in new money right now. In order to get my website rotated... I think I'm just going to surf on sites where I can be a free member for a while. Maybe September will hold more interest for me. Catsville Hummmm..... it looks like Ittie Bittie has taken all of my ink pins off my desk again. That little cat has a fascination for pins and markers and now he has taken them out of my pin holder again. He usually takes them to the garage so I will have to go and find them if I can. Dolphinswink Blog I was reading on Dolphinswink.com blog today and saw the great picture of the manatees. She has a link on her site that if any of you are interested, you can go to the "Save the Manatees Petition" link and help this beautiful animal. I had the pleasure a few years ago to live beside a creek that lead to a large bay that led to the ocean. Each week I would go down to the pier in hope of seeing a mother manatee and her 1 baby who loved to swim this long channel all the time. If they were in the area I would go down the ladder in the water and touch and caress them. They are so beautiful and not scary at all. Many times I would take a head of lettuce down with me when I went just in case they were there. They loved eating the lettuce from my hands and I just loved rubbing my hands on their big nose and feeling their big snout and their mouth. They even have whiskers! smileeeee--- They will even let you hug them. It was a memory that I will always remember. Unfortunately..... a bad storm came one night and it Lasted for about 3 days. The manatees couldn't be found. Locals say that they swam up in shallow waters trying to get away from the storm and the weather was to cold for them in shallow waters in winter time. Why in the world they would go to shallow water just doesn't make any sense but I guess we will never know. They were both found dead. It was a very sad day. I sure loved them. Please go sign the petition. Take Care, Pam

August 22, 2006

Good Morning! It's a beautiful day today and I'm ready to tackle the Internet. I had a really good nights sleep and now I'm perched in my cushy chair with the laptop and I feel all snug and cumfy. I have my morning coffee in hand and I'm now set to get to surfing! You know your life has gone-ta-pott? 1. You know your life has gone-ta-pott when you fight the ants for that last M&M that is sitting on the seat of your car. 2. You know your life has gone-ta-pott when you stock your refrigerator with the catchup and mustard packs from the local fast food. Auto-Surfing I'm sure you all got the warning email from webhitsdaily or either read the warning on the website about the "No tolerance issue." I didn't think I had anything to worry about but ...... I guess I broke the rules at webhitsdaily.com. It looks like my site was suspended from rotation. The link I was rotating was my directory page for Auto-Surfing. http://www.entertainmentdirectory.homestead.com/surfing.html. Can somebody tell me why you think this page would be suspended? What am I missing? Is it because the links all open up in a new window? I guess I need to go back and read the rules again. I usually rotate one of my splash pages because they are clear of ads and they have no google links on them. If I rotate a page from my actual website that has google ads it breaks the google rules which say you can't rotate any pages on auto-surfs, traffic exchanges or etc. that have google links on them. I know this to well because google contacted me a few months ago and told me to remove my site from advertising exchanges. Geesh......... how the heck can I advertise my little website now??? I know I know what your thinking. You see sites all the time in rotation that have google adsense links don't you. Yep I know.... but sooner or later they will get a sweet little letter from google that will say stop it or be deleted from the google adsense program. I sure would like to find the happy medium here. You see I'm not really interested in getting referrals from my auto-surfing links so I would rather not rotate them. I would rather get advertising out for my own little website. We learn as we make mistakes. Plans for the day: My writings today will be short and sweet. I'm on my way to do a bit of reading at the emc forum before the hubby and I head to the beach for a few hours. I've already been on the computer for 5 hours and it's getting lunch time. Stephen and I plan to go have some fish n' chips before we take a nice relaxing walk on the beach front. There's nothing like the feel of the waves and sand rolling over your feet. It makes all your problems disappear for the day. I think the bulk of my working on the computer will be done tonight. Take Care, Pam

August 20, 2006

Hello from Pam! Another work day is over...... got my shower already..... got my big baggy tshirt on.......got my drink in my hand........suppers on the stove cooking...... and I'm here relaxing while I type a few words to you. My computer is right beside the window here so I've opened up the window and let the cats go out to play in the fenced in area of the yard. They are all having a lot of fun but they are acting skidish. I see the neighbor kids are making noise next door so that always scares them and they don't play as much when the neighbors are outside. Holy Crap!!! Ok, you wont believe this. While I was sitting here typing.... I looked out the window and I thought the cats were being scared by the kids next door but when I looked at the oldest cat really close.... Smokey had jumped up on the window sill like he was trying to get up high away from something and he was looking at something really intently. This is what got my attention. He's a smart old cat so I stuck my head out the window and what did I see!!!!!! But another snake about 3 foot long that was raising his head in the grass about 6 inches up. He was looking from side to side. Scared the crap out of me. Naturally I had to get my butt outside really fast to get the animals in before one of them got snake bit. As you guys know I have 7 cats! I think I've broke my damn toe too. I took the screen out of the window so the cats could jump in and out so naturally..... knowing this..... when I saw the snake, I just jumped out the window myself. Ohhhh gosh... I really do think I've broke my toe. I did get the cats in but now I cant find that dang snake. Hummm..... I sure hope the neighbors didn't see my fat butt in the tshirt either. Gosh that little ordeal has my heart to pumping! We seems to be finding a lot of snakes in the yard here lately. If it's one thing I can't stand.... it's a snake. I really love animals and nothing against snakes but a snake scares the crap out of me. It makes me do stupid things. Internet Surfing there's still really not much to say about this subject right now. We are still taking things really easy and were just doing a lot of reading on the subject. I read surf Bloodhound today and the pics of the dogs are always fun to see. It's worth going to the site just to see the dogs. Hey Bloodhound..... if your reading this, are any of those dogs yours? I don't think Bloodhound likes Todd and Jake from ASA very much. He has quite an involved write up about them today. They got bitchslapped once again. Personally.... I never miss watching ASA's weekly newscast. I think it's always worth going and seeing what they have to say. I'm not saying that I follow their suggestions but I am saying that they have heaps of information usually that you can do some research on. This is always good for the Industry. Segment #19 had Andrew on it from Midas-Surf.com. He was a cook kid. I think that's what's so great about blogs too. You can always get plenty of information to help you make your own decisions about advertising/surfing sites and things related. It's important to me to get others opinions. As you know everyone's opinions are based on their own personal experience..... but that alone is worth it's weight in gold. Everybody should get to blogging. We are all still waiting on the Harrolds Media to show their pretty little heads. I wonder when they will actually come on the scene. We still have not been paid by dadndaves. They have never failed to pay us before but this is the longest we have ever had to wait. We are still waiting for the forms to come out with AlienTrust so we can make our decision. We are still surfing Surf-Down-Under. We haven't had any problems at all with them and we've been surfing for ...... maybe a couple of months now. You never hear much about this site at all. It's not a real pretty site but it surfs with no problems at my end. You know they just had their 1st anniversary on August 18th. That says something in it's self. Our Website I haven't had any time over the last 4 days to work on our website. I keep the Surfing News & Updates in line each morning before I go to work (and do my surfing) but that's about all I have time for. I will be hitting it hot and heavy on Tuesday. Well that's it for now. Stephen just called and he's on his way home from work himself so I' ve got to get the meat on the table. Take Care All, and thanks to all of you for being a part of our blog. Pam

August 17, 2006

Hey Yall! It's meeee Pam! It's been one of those type till ya drop days for me. (smileeee) Ok ok go ahead and hit me with your best shot about my southern slang. Believe me..... I've heard it all in the emails that I read. I try and do my best at leaving out my southernessss but sometimes it slips out and I type exactly as I talk. I'm born and raised Southern and that aint gonna change anytime soon. So either get use to it or pass this blog on by and visit the next one. How do you do that you ask? Well in the top right hand corner of this blog is a button. Click that button that says NEXT BLOG and away you go. Now speaking of accents...... the hubby is from Australia. Yep born and raised on the Island and his accent is not going to be changing anytime soon either. hahaha! Favorite Blogs I want to send a Thank You out to Dolphins Wink. They added us to their Blogroll and we really appreciate it. This is one blog that we visit just about every day and I really enjoy it. This blog is about Making a living at home and online. I have to tell you..... every single time I find our website link listed somewhere, I still get that goofy feeling. hahaha! My heart start to beating fast and I get all happy and excited. I get that oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! feeling. Does it effect you guys that have websites that way as well? New Favorite Forum Guys I have a new favorite forum that I seem to be visiting a lot. It's the EMarketCafe.com. I use to spend a lot of time on MMG but I'm veering away from that forum. It's just way to much bullcrap on that one right now. It was one of my favorites at one time..... but not right now. Some of the crap that people have been typing is unbelievable. I like a more mature members base myself and lately MMG is just not cutting it for me. I just don't like the baby mentality and all the whining. It gets so old after a while. I think I'm going to do a bit of hanging out at EMarketCafe. Oh... by the way, we are building a forum page in our Directory. If you know of a good forum, email us so we can list it in our Directory website ok. Auto-Surfing there's really not much going on in the surfing world right now. We are still laying low until we see how the Industry is going to change for September. Hopefully for the good. We would really like to join a really nice place to get some really good advertising in for our website that's for sure. We are still waiting to hear how the new owners of NowDollar are going to manage the site. I think it was around August the 10th when they sent out an email to members telling us that they were getting ready to launch a new ground breaking program. Who am I talking about???? Harrolds Media! Well it's now August 17th- has anyone heard any updates yet? AlienTrust removed Option 1 Wellll wellll wellll...... supriseee supriseeee. AlienTrust took out the Option 1 from the re-compensation plan they were setting up. I haven't heard what that's about yet but I'm sure we will hear some more rattles about it. Stephanie Kronlein, the Director of Finance gave an update about it yesterday. She said that hopefully they will be able to re-instate it at a later date. ???? Those of you who are new may not know who AlienTrust is. This is a surf site/advertising site - that is closing it's doors. Joke Of the Day A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?" "Yep," the wife replied, " in-laws." Hey guys we have a "today's Fun" Page located here. You can go here each day and read jokes, play games and other fun stuff. The information updates so you are sure to read new and fun stuff. Time Spent Together Not very often do Stephen and I have the same day off but yesterday we did. We started our day out by doing household chores together. Then we showered, got ourselves dressed in the same color short outfits and made our way down to our favorite Cafe on the bay. We set out on the pier and ate baked fish with wine and lemon dill sauce pored on top. It was yummie too! While we ate, we watched the big boats go by and we had fun watching the hermit crabs crawling around in the water too. It was absolutely lovely. We talked about work and the Internet and all our big plans. smileeeee~ What would we have if we couldn't dream our dreams in life? Well it was a great day and I have to say I cherished every minute of it. Bye Bye for now friends I'm going to call it a day now. I've been online since 6:00 this morning and my butt is pretty num. The next few days are going to be really busy for me so I don't think I will be posting anything in the blog here until Tuesday the 22nd. . . . Stephens birthday is the 24th!! Wow! I better make sure I get the stuff to cook him a birthday cake! Take Care, Pam

Message from Pam Hello Everyone! Man oooo man it's my off day from the day job and I've been spending all day long catching up on my emails. Geeshhh! I got about 400 of them from the Internet and most of them were just adverts and spam. Only about 55 of them were from readers who read our blog or our website Gone-ta-pott.com. Speaking of letter we wanted to send a shout out to Frond from Frond's Cash Blog. He was nice enough to sign one of our guest books in our website and thanked us for listing him in our website. We sent him a thank you letter as well. Now feel free to go read his blog. He has a nice blog about Auto-Surfing. Spam Have your guys noticed the new way that spammers are spamming in emails now??? They send you an email accusing you of spamming when you damn well know you don't send spam. The email will have a simply one liner that says.... "Stop sending spam." What is so sligh about this is... they have about 5 or 6 signature links at the bottom of the email. They think they are soooo ----- cleaver! This is one thing that pisses the heck out of me to say the least!!! Auto-Surfing It looks like BioHazardSurf.com will be closing. We joined this one a few weeks ago to give it a test because we really liked the way the site looked. But..... it seems this run didn't last us long enough to get to know the site. Just as well.... we joined it so we could do a few reports to our readers it but it looks like we have to check this one off our list as well. We signed up with WebHitsDaily.com yesterday. You can purchase a $50.00 membership and receive an additional $5.00. The payment processors that they use is E-Gold, AlertPay, UniClear and Virtual Money. All accounts are manually verified. They do their membership a little bit different. You can be a silver affiliate, a premium member or a imperial member. We're going to take it slow in the surfing Industry right now but I have to say that I really do like the site. The surfing been smooth with no problems but we have only surfed 2 days. Today we signed up with SolidTrustGroup.com. We've been meaning to sign up with this site for a while but we could never fit it into our time frame. Since the close of so many surfing sites lately.... it has now given us the time to sign up. This site is a low 1% but that's just fine with us. When you join you get a FREE $5.00. This is the site that has its own payment processor called SolidTrustPay.com but they also use others as well. Personally I like the low % sites. They seem to last longer and besides.... its always good to mix up your portfolio. Speaking of low % - We loved Dadndaves and we hate to see it go. We did not sign up for Dadndaves new site 12x12. It seems this site is moving to fast for them to keep up with it seems. I thought it would be a good idea to wait and see if we get a payment from Dadndaves first. They still owe us from a cashout that we did on 7/20/06. Their paying slow but still paying. I don't know how they are keeping up with them both. Speaking of keeping up..... I can't keep up with Trish and how she is part of DadnDaves. I know she has Surf-Down-Under.com. This site is slow paying as well. I sure hope these folks are not over loading themselves. What's for supper? It's so nice to have the day off. I guess I had better get busy on the website and start checking links and updating as much as I can before it's time to cook supper. Stephen and I will be grilling on the grill once he gets home from work. We loveeeeee to grill and we do it all the time. Tonight we will be grilling steak with potatoes baking on the grill as well. I will also be cooking a foil packet of butter, onions and mushrooms to put over the top of the steak. A nice small green salad will do just fine on the side and the Pavlova that Stephen cooked last night for dessert will be great left over. Take Care Friends! Pam

August 13, 2006

Thanks for visiting For those of you that are visiting for the first time, our blog is about things that are related to our website. Our website is a Directory so it has many different subject matter. Everything from Auto-Surfing to jokes. Yep.... it's a Directory with a bit of Entertainment mixed in. Message from Pam Hello everyone. I just got home from work and like always, the first thing I do is hop on the Internet and start working on my website. It takes me an easy 4 hours each day just to keep it updated. So here I go with 4 more hours of work and then my day will be complete. Problems with a Snippet Oh let me tell you...... if any of you have been going to our "Surfing News & Updates" page lately then you would of noticed the bright blue color of the links on the left hand side of the page. I was having a terrible time at finding a snippet problem that was causing my links that were supposed to be tan, to change to blue every single time the page was published. I was going mad at finding the problem. But..... Finally the problem is taken care of and the page is back to it's intended color. It's a lot easier to read now. Auto-Surfing Gosh what can be said about this right now????? Who the heck knows!! We've been on the wildest surfing ride in a long time and I hope to goodness we don't have to ride this ride again either. If we have any more spins and flips and ups and down I swear I think I'm going to puke. I'm so sick of this constant spinning. If things don't perk up in this hacking Industry then I think I'm ready to get off of this ride for good. I've been reading blog after blog that usually gives indebted opinions on auto-surfing and right now there's just No subject matters to really speak of. Well I take that back. I'm reading the same old news over and over and all anyone can say is...... www. Hacked, www. Hacked, www. Is closing, www. site is down or either the blogs just simply say..... "I don't have anything to say." This is pitiful to say the least. We are all hoping to see this Industry get back on it's feet so surfers can start making some money again. You can just feel the tention in the air and the depressed state the Industry is in right now. Do we recommend any Surfing Sites right now? Actually I'm going to have to say "No, not right now." We are in a few but I don't really have that trust factor built up for anyone one of them at this time. The longest standing one that we were very happy with was AlienTrust and we all know that AlienTrust is closing its doors now. Are we going to join the new venture "ZapWire?" Ummmm I will have to think this one over a bit. I've always been terrible on getting referrals and it sounds like this one is MLM. I don't know for sure now because this site is not actually open yet to know all the facts. What I do know is I have never been any good at Multi Level Marketing but if this is the only way I will see a payment from AlienTrust then I may roll my money over into it. We will just have to see more information about the new site. Catsville Let me tell you about Batman the cat and the trouble he got into this week. I was working at my computer and I started printing out some pages that I needed. While the pages were printing I decided to step away to the kitchen and fix myself a sandwich. While I was gone, Batman the cat decided to investigate. Batman the cat has always been curious about the printer and when he hears it start to print he jumps up on the table and watches the pages inch down and spit out. He has always watched this process take place with great attention but he has never bothered the printer in any way. This time his attention was a little to much and the silly little boy stuck his paw up the opening in the front and pushed it way to the back feeling around. Needless to say he got his nails caught on something in the back of the printer and he was stuck. He had his arm rammed up inside the printer, all the way up to his shoulder!!! I heard him meow a few times. I walked back in the room with my sandwich and there he was. His whole arm rammed in the printer. I looked at him and I said "Batman! What have you done!?" The silly cat looked up at me, cocked his head sideways and answered -Mawww. ma ma ma maw. Then he looks in the opening of the printer with one eye, turns back and looks at me as if he was trying to explain how the heck he got his arm stuck. I was laughing so hard till all I could do was give him a good finger waggle and that was it. Oh and yes... I did get Batman (black cat with yellow eyes) unstuck.. Favorite moment of the day - While working the front desk today at my day job, I had an i-i-irate woman who was pissed off because she wanted a room on the water and not the room that the TimeShare company placed her in. She was tapping her longgggg fakeeeeee fingernails on the counter demanding that something be done when....... in her tapping anger....... 2 of her fake fingernails came popping off of her diamond filled hand. Pam Svoboda That's it for today my friends! Come back to see us! Pam

    August 04, 2006

Good Morning to you, It's meeeee Pam! It's Friday morning and it's raining cats and dogs outside everyone. Most people will be working their last day of the week and getting ready for the weekend off but not for me. You see Friday is actually the first day of the week for my day job. Yep.... I'm one of those weekend workers. I work long hours on Fri, Sat, Sun and Mondays. I have to deal with the mad rush of all the people on Holidays trying to check in. I'm that smiling person that takes your money and sends you to your room. You see I work at a small Time Share Resort on the bay and let me tell you...... When those guests get there from driving on the road for hours and hours they are CRANKY to say the least. Wouldn't it be nice if our website Gone-ta-pott.com was getting enough traffic to it that I could quit this day job and just run the website full time. Hey you gotta love those checks from Google Adsense. If working our website full time doesn't happen soon I'm not going to have any teeth left to grind. Google Gossip I've been reading over the Internet that Google has been deleting blogs that are using the blog for referral links. We think that's a shame. We hear that their crawler is what's making the decisions and doing it. We are finding that many people are changing over to different blogs besides Googles so they can get their links listed. We haven't had a problem with this as of yet but we sure would like to know the facts. Can anyone give us your experience on this? Surfing for money Come on 15hitsdaily let me stay logged in for goodness sake! It's getting so tiring having to keep logging in every day. Hey did you guys hear the latest from them yesterday? 8/3/06 They are in the process of transferring the site to a new and improved dedicated server with a much higher level of DDoS protection and SSL security among other features. Boy that was a mouthful! Anyway Bobs email said that after the transfer is complete they will be launching their new Autosurf. The name is being withheld for now. The new site is a multi-level earning system with different levels of referral commissions. I put this information on our Surfing News & Updates page as well. I have to say that I'm looking forward to seeing how the new site is going to be set up. I'm looking forward to the day that a site can come out and be as impressive "looks wise" as AlienTrust.com. ahhhhh I just reminded myself that AlienTrust is closing it's doors. What a shame but we all knew it was coming. But hey... talking about nice looking sites... that Midas-Surf doesn't look to bad does it. I really like sites that are in black with a bit of gold. Yeah I know, our very own site Gone-ta-pott.com is in those colors as well. Anyway, since they don't have Virtual Money yet and since e-gold is still down, we will have to wait before we give Midas a spin. Many times we will join as a free member and give the surfing a test drive and spin our link around before we even actually spend any money on buying advertising shares. I don't think we can do that with Midas if I understand their terms. Here's what it says --- A potential User may register for free to view the site and explore. However, to place a site in the Surf Rotation for viewing by other members, a Registered User must purchase an Advertising Package. Failure to purchase an Advertising Package within 30 days of registration shall be deleted from the system and denied access. This procedure is necessary to maximize the advertising return potential for those members that have purchased Advertising Packages. Hey somebody refresh my memory. What ever happened to the surf site AutoSurfingPros.com? Was this the one that was going to combine with Alertpaypro? We were members in diapers with AutoSurfingPros when they stopped and now I can't find my notes on what was happening to all the memberships." If you go to the website it still says this. "Autosurfingpros is now in maintenance mode. "This may take approx 1 week." "More information will be sent out via email." Well how long has it been now????? Anybody know the update on the subject? Payment Processors I still can't log into E-Gold. I've tried for 3 morning now. Yep it's that ddos attack problem that's going on. Now is when I really wish I had opened up an AlertPay account but I never got around to doing it. The bad news is..... we all know that payouts with our surfing sites are going to come to a stand still right. Those of us who use E-Gold will just have to wait it out. If your new to the Internet we have a list of some of the most popular payment processors that's available over the Internet. Just Click Here to see.

    August 03, 2006

Hello Hello Hello! It was my day off today and I spent it paying bills, buying groceries and scooping cat litter poop. Yep I usually spend my off days from my real job surfing the Internet on auto-surfing sites and updating our website. This time I thought I would take the day off from it all and catch up on my daily chores. After all...... with AlienTrust.com closing and NowDollar.com at a stand still right now why not right. Only those people who buy advertising will know what I'm talking about. Early this morning about 6:00 am -I was enjoying a relaxed day at my computer checking emails and reading my favorite blogs. I usually do this while Stephen is in the shower getting ready for work. The blog I was reading was Surfboard's Online Money. Imagine my surprise when I was reading his news (with my feet propped up with coffee in hand...) when I ran right into our very own link! Well I gulped really hard and said... ahhh O! What's this........! Not knowing what to expect-- You see.... we have a quite little website and a quite little blog and it was quite shocking to be reading a paragraph and find out that the paragraph your reading is describing you. Someone that we didn't even know too. You know how blogs go I'm sure. You never know what anybody is going to say about you! hahahaha! Well..... I called for my wet and towel wrapped hubby and in his Australian way of talking he reads what it says and then says...."Good On Ya." Anyway, Surfboard Thanks for giving us a bit of a punt on your postings and placing us in your surfboard line up as well. It's really great to get a link back to our website. Readers.... If you want to read an informative blog then don't miss Surfboards Online Money. It's a well laid out site and full of great information about making money with the Internet. You will find us listed under "Surfboard's Info Sites." The hot coffee pot is brewing again and the smell of the deep dark roast is filling the house full of that soothing morning coffee smell. The real cream and the coconut creamer is sitting neatly beside the coffee pot waiting to be pored in the coffee. While I was waiting for the brewing to finish, I settled back into my computer and was well on my way at typing when all of a sudden I heard it. crashhhhh! bangggg! bam! crack! I ran to the kitchen and....... I should of known. I should of known not to leave the real cream sitting on the kitchen counter unattended especially when you have cats. Nothing attracts a cat more than milk does and you guessed it. While Batman the cat was trying to get to the cream he knocked off a canister above the sink and it fell right on the breakfast dishes that I had ready to serve up breakfast on. The canister was so heavy that it busted 2 of my sea shell design dishes that I loved so much. ^$^$#%#$%#*(& Today was a wet and rainy day. I always did hate having to drive in the rain but I did it anyway. I had to get to the bank and pay those bills ya know. After all my running around in town was finished I met Stephen for lunch. We ate at one of the local pizza places and filled our bellies full. By this time the rain had settled down and we watched the steam coming off of the parking lot pavement; from the window of the pizza place. You know it always does that after a rain. Once Stephens lunch hour was over I gave hubby a hug and a kiss and I came home. When trying to bring the groceries in the door, Batman does his normal and jumps on my butt and hangs there and meows. For some reason he does the every single day as if he is giving me a big cat claw hug. Well I pulled all the groceries out of the bags and proceeded to put the can goods away first. Then I turned around to put the bag of meatballs that I got in the freezer. But..... where did they go? I thought I left them here. Now where did I put those meatballs. Hummmmmm. I had a sinking suspicion that I better start looking for them as sure enough I found them. I looked down the hall way and there I saw a small bag of meatballs scampering down the hall. $#@&**$#@ Finally..... put the groceries away and back on the computer I went. I tried to log into e-gold.com but found that I couldn't. The word is the site is under a Ddos attack. Aint that just great. Well that's it for me and the computer today as well. I better go get those towels out of the dryer and fold them. By the time I finish that it will be time to get supper cooking. Ahhhh here comes the thunder and rain again too. I guess the satelite will go out any minute now. I better publish this before it does. Bye everyone!

    Internet Surfing

A Sad Day for AlienTrust members: Well surfers this is what the top news was on our Surfing News & Update page for today. AlienTrust.com were forced to close the negotiations and vacate the non-disclosure agreement. There is no longer a buyer for AlienTrust.com. AlienTrust will begin the process of closing down effective immediately. This information was taken from the last update by Vince. Read the complete update here at North Shore Media News. We were all on pins and needles waiting for this update to come through today. I think most had that feeling of helplessness. I even read posts of members feeling sink while waiting for the news. AlienTrust has been one of the best things that has happened for many people to say the least. Especially for those people who were fortunate enough to be maxed out at a early stage. It's sad to see such a site have to close. We've been with them ourselves long before the stormpay mess and we have enjoyed every single minute of it too. We also think Vince is quite the business man and many readers of this are going to take that sentence to have several different meanings. I for one thought the site was jamming and who ever designed it did a fantastic job. It was no dought the best looking surfing site out there and it was laid out very professional looking too. The support team was untouchable. It's sad to see such a piece of work end. Hummmm..... I wonder what new venture Vince has up his sleeves now? I'm sure we will soon see. Ya know..... We really like the program 15hitsdaily.com but we are having a heck of a time getting our surfing time in with the site. Ever since we joined we get booted out and we are always having to log in over and over and over. It just keeps saying user name/password is incorrect. After about 7 or 8 tries it finally reconizes our user name and password and lets us in. I don't know what's up with that. I think that Bob the Admin is on his toes with emailing all the members with all the updates on a daily basis. I mean how often does an Admin do that? So I have to give him an A+ for communication. The only thing that I think has been bothering me this week about his email are the ones where he asks everyone to go to the ASA site and vote. I don't know but.... It sounds like he is begging for his members to vote on him and that's a disappointment to me. Anyway, we are just testing the waters on this site but we really do like it so far. We listened to the telephone interview he had with autosurf Authority and heard Bobs voice. Nice~ I think it was segment #14. You can go to the site and watch the video under the Archives if your interested. Hummm do any of you remember the autosurf DailyROI.com? They suddenly closed their doors a few months ago and now it seems they have reopened. We just got an email from them that said it had been a rough few months for them and that during the stormpay mess they had no luck legally trying to get back the funds that stormpay and paypal owed them. They went on to say that at the time of 12dailypros closure, their advertising was displayed on their homepage, thus exposing them to the problems of 12dailypro. They were issued a cease and desist by an authoritative body. They were not implicated in anything legal, but they were instructed to go offline. The order expired on the 20th of July allowing them once again to resume business. Naturally this abruptly shut them down and caused them to not be able to finish paying out refunds completely. They are saying that they would like to make good on the refunds due but cannot pay them in full so they are initiating partial refunds in the form of upgrades as the funds become available. If I remember right this site was labeled as a Scam because they dropped off the face of the earth. They are trying to explain now that they are not a scam and they are asking their loyal members to upgrade. They have apologized to the public.

    Happy Birthday Alan

Happy Birthday Alan A big Happy Birthday goes out to my brother Alan. I hear you and AJ left out early this morning to go fishing. It's nice to actually have the day off work on your birthday. How often does that get to happen. Hardly never- I tried calling you to wish you a happy birthday but Cathy said you had already left for the river. Cathy tells me that she's frying up fish for your birthday supper tonight. Don't eat to much cake now and I hope you have lots ah' fun with your family. August 1st

Hello Everyone, I just can't believe how fast July flew by. The whole month is just a blurr to me. Our Directory website at www.gone-ta-pott.com is slowly but surely getting more hits. We're not actually trying to promote it very much because it's all we can do right now just to keep up with it as it is. Just maintaining what we have has turned out to be quite a task. smileeeeeee- a good task though. I have to say that building it has been one of the funniest things I've ever done and that's no lie. August Newsletter Our fun August Newsletter is up and ready for reading. You can get to it by clicking on this link. www.gone-ta-pott.com/Augustnewsletter.html. This months topics are our Top 10 pages, word of the day, joke of the day, August Calendar, Entertainment News, Hillbilly Recipe of the month, surfing news and updates, When your back is against the wall -article, today's Headline News, Catsville and last but not least our very own Picture Memory game that you will find in every single newsletter. We have more fun at writing our newsletters. Guest Book We wish that more people would sign our guestbook that's located at the bottom of the newsletter but for some reason most people tend to skip this part. I always find it a lot of fun when I run across guest books on personal websites. I always make sure I sign every single one I come across. If you think about it.... it's a great way to advertise your website for free because in most guestbooks they ask for your website link. If more website owners would use the free resources for advertising; our sites would be a lot better off by getting that extra free traffic. So friends.... If you go and read our newsletter please think about signing our guestbook. We would love to hear from you and would love to visit your site as well. wink~ Our Articles Every now and then I write articles for our website and we allow many of them to be published in other websites besides our own. As I was surfing the Internet I found one of my articles located here at http://www.nomadjournaltrips.com/florida_gator The Title of this article is "My First Experience with a Gator." This was a short little story of my very first up close experience with a Florida Alligator. It was a fun treat to actually see my very own article while I was reading someone else's website. Great website too by the way. p.s. They even have a blog. Halloween Directory I know it's only August but this is the month that we start up-dating our Halloween Recipe pages that's located here http://www.gone-ta-pott.com/halloweenrecipes.html I know this may seem early to most of you to think about Halloween but if you really think about it, October is only 8 weeks away and our Halloween recipe pages start getting tons of hits during this time because of all the party planning that's going on in the next few weeks. You know if your going to have a really spooky Halloween party your going to plan the menu way ahead of time and your going to plan the theme of your party ahead of time as well. That's why the hits to this section of our website will be booming for the next 12 weeks. During our surfing this month we are going to be looking for some really ghoulish websites that we can link to as well, so if you have a Halloween website be sure to let us know so we can check it out. Internet Surfing News & Updates dadndaves.net will close in 400 days, on the 4th of September 2007. All existing upgrades will be honored. You will be able to continue to earn and request cashouts as usual until your upgrades have expired. As of now, they are no longer accepting upgrades, or allowing compounding. Payouts will continue as funds become available, until all members have been paid all their earnings. If you wish to continue earning, you must continue to surf. ---Well we knew this was coming. We're a member of dadndaves ourselves and we have enjoyed surfing with this site. This site has reached a record breaker of being active for over 14 months. It's been fun adding a few pennies to our piggy bank with this site. David is a loved admin by many and we know he will surprise us with something new once this site shuts down. We already know about his new site called 12by12daily.net that he opened up just a few days ago. If you would like to know what Internet surfing is all about, read our Directory Pages. It will give you a description of it and give a Directory List of over 100 sites that you can surf and make money with. Learn all about it here through our Splash Page. Keep an eye on our blog here as well ok.... We try and keep it updated with important news about the surfing/work-from-home Industry. Do we buy Ad Shares with Auto-Surfs and Manual Surfs? Yep we do. We are not big investors at all though. We are mostly involved because we want to be up-to-date on all the news so we can list our finding in our Surfing News & Update section of our website for all our readers to read. The best way to do this is to be members ourselves. Plus.... Being an advertiser with these Auto-Surf sites and manual surf sites will get our site out there to the surfing world to see and we like that a lot. Kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak. You make a bit of money while you advertise your website. And when your advertising your website..... You latch on a few other websites that want to exchange links with you and that's really good for link popularity! We love that too! It makes for a really good business circle that I think more website owners need to grasp on to. Do a bit of research and get the facts. Did you know that the stistics say that it takes a person 7 times to see something before he will actually click on it and check it out? Yep.... And if you roll that around in your head for a bit you will understand how great these surf sites are for website owners. Your website will be seen by other surfing members every single day and you need those people to see it more than once in order for them to click on it. When they click on it, you get sales if your site has things to sale or you get your services noticed, which ever your site offers. Who would of thought right. Can you see how it makes for a good business circle?

    Lizard Birthing

This was sent to me in my email today and I just had to share it with you. You will get a big laugh out of it and that's a fact. It's Priceless!
Overview: I had to take my son's lizard to the vet.
Here's what happened: Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was "something wrong" with one of the two lizards he holds prisoner in his Room. "He's just lying there looking sick," he told me. "I'm serious, dad, can You help?" I put my best lizard-healer statement on my face and followed him into his Bedroom. One of the little lizards was indeed lying on his back, looking Stressed. I immediately knew what to do. "Honey," I called, "come look at the lizard!" "Oh my! Gosh," my wife diagnosed after a minute. "She's having babies." "What?" my son demanded. "But their names are Bert and Ernie, Mom!" I was equally outraged. "Hey, how can that be? I thought we said we didn't want them to reproduce," I accused my wife. "Well, what do you want me to do, post a sign in their cage?" she inquired. (I actually think she said this sarcastically!) "No, but you were supposed to get two boys!" I reminded her, (in my most Loving, calm, sweet voice, while gritting my teeth together). "Yeah, Bert and Ernie!" my son agreed. "Well, it's just a little hard to tell on some guys, you know," she informed me. (Again with the sarcasm, you think?) By now the rest of the family had gathered to see what was going on. I shrugged, deciding to make the best of it. "Kids, this is going to be a wondrous experience, I announced. "We're about to witness the miracle of birth." "Oh, gross!" they shrieked. "Well, isn't THAT just great! What are we going to do with a litter of tiny Little lizard babies?" my wife wanted to know. (I really do think she was Being snotty here, too. Don't you?) We peered at the patient. After much struggling, what looked like a tiny Foot would appear briefly, vanishing a scant second later. "We don't appear to be making much progress," I noted. "It's breech," my Wife whispered, horrified. "Do something, Dad!" my son urged. "Okay, okay." Squeamishly , I reached in and grabbed the foot when it next appeared, giving it a gentle tug. It disappeared. I tried several more times with the same results. "Should I call 911," my eldest daughter wanted to know. "Maybe they could talk us through the trauma." (You see a pattern here with the females in my house?) "Let's get Ernie to the vet," I said grimly. We drove to the vet with my son holding the cage in his lap. "Breathe, Ernie, breathe," he urged. "I don't think lizards do Lamaze," his mother noted to him. (Women can be so cruel to their own young. I mean what she does to me is one thing, but this boy is of her womb, for God's sake.) The Vet took Ernie back to the examining room and peered at the little animal through a magnifying glass. "What do you think, Doc, a C-section?" I suggested scientifically. "Oh, very interesting," he murmured. "Mr. And Mrs. Cameron, may I speak to you privately for a moment?" I gulped, nodding for my son to step outside. "Is Ernie going to be okay?" my wife asked. "Oh, perfectly," the Vet assured us. "This lizard is not in labor. In fact, that isn't EVER Going to happen... Ernie is a boy. You see, Ernie is a young male. And occasionally, as they come into maturity, like most male species, they Um....um....masturbate. Just the way he did, lying on his back." He blushed, glancing at my wife. "Well, you know what I'm saying, Mr.Cameron." We were silent, absorbing this. "So Ernie's just...just...

Excited," my wife offered. "Exactly," the vet replied, relieved that we understood. More silence. Then my viscous, cruel wife started to giggle. And giggle. And then even laugh loudly. "What's so funny?" I demanded, knowing, but not believing that the woman I married would commit the upcoming affront to my flawless manliness. Tears were now running down her face. Laughing "It's just...that...I'm picturing you pulling on its... its...teeny little..." she gasped for more air to bellow in laughter once more. "That's enough," I warned. We thanked the Vet and hurriedly bundled the lizards and our son back into the car. He was glad everything was going to be okay. "I know Ernie's really thankful for what you've done, Dad," he told me. "Oh, you have NO idea," Closed mouth, my wife agreed, collapsing with laughter. 2 - Lizards - $140... 1 - Cage - $50... Trip to the Vet - $30...

Memory of your husband pulling on a lizard's winkie... Priceless!
Moral of the story - finish biology class - lizards lay eggs!
