When's the last time you used a whole loaf of bread, down to the last crumb, before it went stale or moldy? It’s not easy. Most of us try our best, it seems like there are always a few slices or nubs that don’t last until someone’s ready to eat them. But all those throwaway slices add up and contribute to the massive amount of food waste we produce in this country. Not to mention the grocery money that gets wasted right along with it.
