Now I know most of us only eat the carrot cake at Christmas time but this beautiful cake has a celebration day all of it's own. That means.... we have an excuse to eat this fancy cake again! Another 19th-century recipe comes from the housekeeping school of Kaiseraugst (Canton of Aargau, Switzerland) According to the Culinary Heritage of Switzerland, it is one of the most popular cakes in Switzerland, especially for the birthdays of children.

- Be a good neighbor: Wrap up a few slices of cake and deliver to your neighbor. They would love it. Especially if they couldn't make it to the cake party that you had
